Boogie Chat presents itself as a robust XMPP/Jabber chat client specifically designed for iPad and iPhone users. It allows for seamless communication by enabling users to join multiple chat rooms, facilitating discussions with various friends or colleagues simultaneously.

This application supports both one-on-one conversations and multi-user chat rooms, in line with the MUC XEP-0045 protocol. Additionally, it provides the ability to upload images through XEP-0363, including an option to utilize Dropbox for servers that lack direct image upload capabilities.

Numerous compatible Jabber servers are available as open-source solutions online, contributing to an economical private chat service option.
